Express Launderers is a family run company who have been established in the popular holiday resort of Blackpool for just over 80 years. They commenced trading in 1927 processing Dry Cleaning and Domestic Laundry. In 1932 they progressed to handling Contract Laundry for guesthouses and small hotels throughout the resort.

1971 Express introduced the linen hire system to Blackpool this was the first service of its kind in the resort and a turning point for the company.

1972 they commenced processing Laundry on an emergency basis for hospitals and soon built up an excellent reputation. Today their reliable services are used by many of the N.H.S Trusts.

Express relocated to their purpose built factory in 1989 which itself has undergone many expansions over the years to cope with the constant increase of trade in the Fylde area and throughout the Northwest of England.

In August 2000 Vale Textile Service in Llandudno, North Wales was purchased as an addition to their Linen Hire Division. Since then it has undergone a modernisation project to bring production and capabilities in line with the Blackpool plant.

The two companies now cover the Northwest of England and North Wales. They have a work force of over 200 and can process over 700,000 pieces of linen per week.

With their forward thinking attitude, constant investment and attention to detail they stay ahead of the field and for these reasons are still one of the most modern and respected Laundries in Europe.
